Bearing Interchange / Cross Reference

A cross-reference identifies a candidate for review. It does not guarantee interchangeability in a particular machine.

Compare more than dimensions

  • Full base designation and configuration suffixes.
  • Boundary and mounting dimensions.
  • Seals, clearance, precision and cage requirements.
  • Load, speed, lubrication and operating requirements.

State the purchasing requirement

Tell us whether the original branded reference is mandatory or whether alternatives may be considered. Include the equipment drawing and any acceptance criteria.

Keep an evidence trail

Retain the original marking, product documentation and the specification used for the comparison. A catalogue listing with a similar model name should not be treated as a completed technical review.

Confirm before substitution

Review the proposed alternative against the actual application and confirm the agreed configuration before ordering. Send the existing part reference to begin a sourcing enquiry.

Discuss your bearing requirement

Send the complete designation, quantity, equipment details and operating conditions. We will review the reference and confirm the sourcing option before quotation.
