Lubrication Guide
Lubrication requirements belong to the complete machine and bearing configuration. Begin with the equipment manufacturer’s lubricant and maintenance specification rather than choosing a lubricant from the bearing size alone.
Information for a sourcing review
- Exact bearing designation and seal arrangement.
- Current lubricant reference and lubrication method.
- Operating speed, temperature and environment.
- Maintenance schedule and any observed operating issue.
Prelubricated products
If the purchase requires a particular grease fill or lubricant specification, include it explicitly in the enquiry and confirm it with the quoted product.
Replacement lubricant
Ask the lubricant supplier and equipment manufacturer to review compatibility before changing or mixing products. Retain the original lubricant documentation with the maintenance record.
Ordering detail
For OEM supply, state the required lubricant, filling requirement and supporting documentation. Do not infer these details from a generic seal suffix.
Discuss your bearing requirement
Send the complete designation, quantity, equipment details and operating conditions. We will review the reference and confirm the sourcing option before quotation.
